Bandleader Chris Butler wrote the song as a goof, and it never went away: the Waitresses had a New Wave classic on their hands. But after their surprise hit, Butler's career took an unexpected turn, as Trey Kay discovered.

you don't know rock christmas music, you aren't looking hard enough.

heck, there's punk rock christmas cd's - "punk rock xmas", vandals' "oi to the world", relient k's "deck the hall bruise your hand", "jingle punx".

and for regular rocks, there's tons of those very special christmas cd's!
