Imagine if Martha Stewart downed a few highballs and went to town on recipes from Betty Crocker --- you'll begin to get a sense of Amy Sedaris's new book. I Like You: Hospitality Under the Influence seems to be a spoof of classic entertaining manuals from the 1950s - but sometimes it's hard to tell when Sedaris is joking. She offers Kurt a few pointers, like why you need to pre-crack the liquor bottles after a funeral and why you shouldn't bathe with frosting.
