The analagy of the functions of all sides of the brain are necessary when stepping out to expand our learning horizons. Whether this be for the left or right side of the brain, the application of the subject one is attempting to learn will inadvertanly effect the brain to the point of actuallly manipulating the wiring of this organ.

It's curious as to whether or not certain activities stimulated the brain and gave this conclusion of separate functions. What a disappoint that only 6% is being utilized. What would occur if we increased that by just 4%? Would we surly end up with world disaster or resolution to the continual growth of current issues, such as global warming, financial deficit, etc. Then brings the next question, in what part of the brain should receive the 4% increase? Should it be applied evenly for fairness? Do we take a chance of putting the brain at such a level of intellegence that it would potentially turn against itself? Just as it was reflected in the lecture, the left side does not want to submit or lose “control” to the right side that wants to just have some fun!

It is encouraging that anything you learn forces the brain to make pathways that we're not previously there or being utilized. It has been said that certain subjects were not worth learning, as they would not be applicable in future jobs, or certain activities, but now, with this not so new information of revelation of brain functions, there is not anything that can be learned that could be considered a waste of time.

How amazing it is to know that we are made in away that two foces can actually work together, when proper information is installed. I think additional types of installation and the contents of that installment should be studied to see if the brain reacts in a way that maybe we have not discovered.
