Thank you for this nifty story about the great Model of 1911 pistol. It was very refreshing considering that NPR hosts frequently let their contempt for and fear of guns slant their reporting. It is usually apparent from their tone of voice if not from their words directly that they despise guns and the people who value them. This was a nice change. A fact-based, entertaining, unbiased story in the finest NPR tradition.
