East L.A. fusion rockers Quetzal show how they're pushing the boundaries of Chicano music to a new level of cool. Bandleader Quetzal Flores and his wife, vocalist Martha Gonzalez, tell Kurt why politics is something they can’t help but sing about. They perform two incendiary, hip-shaking songs.

Thank you so much for featuring Quetzal on your June 6 live show. I was blessed to witness the band play at Future Studios in Sedona, AZ in May of 2004. I have always enjoyed their music and was all the more reminded of their greatness when I heard them on Studio 360. Excellent job on picking up one of the finest and most unsung live acts on the scene today. Thanks again!
