With the success of Gogol Bordello, whose origins I am not questioning but whose music has little if anything to do with the music of the Roma, invariably any and all music from this part of the world is being labeled "gypsy".
This is erroneous and kind of dishonest. I love Studio 360 but am sorry that somehow the show is propagating this cliche.
