It is only my opinion and I am only a small cog in the big machine, but I believe that May 4th, 1970 is one of the single most important days in the history of America. I could not believe that our government would do such a thing. I was a service person at the time and I wanted to burn my uniform. It was like the buildings and the streets and the lights in the windows no longer had any life or vibrance, the decay was exposed. Everything began to die. And everyone kept their mouth shut. Hence our silence on the Chinese and Teinaman(sp) Square and our torture of Getmo internees. Neil Young had it right when the "tin soldiers" of Nixon came, they turned us all "on our own", without a country and without a prayer.
Thanks for the flashback and update ... have missed these guys. De-evolution indeed.
