I'm a little confused; is this a video from pre-economic freefall days? It seems that these students priorities are not in synch with the current and very upfront concerns of the automotive industry (and particularly that theoretically espoused by FORD) in 2009. The big Es (Energy, Ecology, Efficiency) seem a little low on these student's lists and, shockingly, the student speaking of how her design was guided by how much "Americans love their SUVs" only accentuates the continuing shortsightedness of the automobile manufacturers. And this is its future!? Visit the ATERA video to see true originality that couldn't get funding from the US government because the car has three wheels…
