On Regina Spektor's new record, "Far," she gets seriously existential - mentioning God 33 times in the first single, "Laughing With." She performs that song live in the studio and talks with Kurt about life, the universe, and everything.

I'm actually surprised that the Studio 360 listeners ostensibly like the lyrics of this song. In my opinion they are maudlin at best, deeply offensive at worst.
I don't know what cocktail parties Ms. Spektor is attending where her acquaintances "laugh at God" and then pray to it later, but I can vouch for those nonbelievers who don't give credence to the bizarre concept of "God" during any scenario no matter how dark or grave. It's time our collective consciousness was raised about how the notion of god or anything like it is COMPLETELY ABSENT from a large percentage of our interior lives.

Thanks for putting this up.
Regina is one talented young woman.
Got to listen to "No One's Laughing at God" and "Folding Chair" during broacast.
Just delightful, touching and enchanting. Thanks for introducing such sparkling talent.
Haven't heard such interesting lyrics since Cole Porter. Regina Spektor's conversational lyrics drew me in to her message (No One's Laughing at God) Glad I took the time to listen to her.
