I started listening to this piece on line and then realized i could see the accompanying slide show to go along with it--not my usual radio experience. I especially liked the crushed bug verbal image ( before i saw the photos)--Is it art if it is on the road? why not? Does it change how people feel--does it made people feel uncomfortable in the discovering that this is "real": certainly. Well done to the producer for capturing this quandry through the responsive voices of the viewers.
Love it! It is what it is... It is not beautiful as mentioned but it needs to be out there. I am Assyrian and as you know the indigenous people of Iraq. I am now living in Savannah, GA teaching at SCAD. I can talk about the issues via art/design more effectively than other means. Thank you!
