Sonos takes a creative detour when it comes to a cappella. The L.A.-based indie outfit favors Radiohead, Björk, and Fleet Foxes for its unlikely harmonies. Kurt talks with the group and they perform live in the studio –- unaccompanied, of course.

Really difficult to convey this as a "sound story" and it was done beautifully. Really compelling.

I loved the show. I will be buying their album. It was very refreshing to hear a "real" song being written by young people today.
I am curious to know why there was no mention of Sweet Honey In The Rock. This group has been around for 30+ years. They came out of the Civil Rights Movement and continue to sing songs of freedom.
Loved this section and the show this week. I liked your joke: "So we'll take that to a capella court"....but shouldn't that have been "acappellate" court?
I love waking up to the hauting melodies of human voices...thank you :]
Hi, loved Sonos and would like to invite you all to the sounds and humor of The Bobs http://www.bobs.com/ (coming to your area soon). The group has been around for over 30 years (2 of the members are "originals"). Listen to them and you will know where Sonos has picked up their drum riffs. Anyone remember Manhatten Trnsfer? They've been around a pretty good stretch too. A Capella - well it's ceratinly older than all of these groups and comes in so many forms... You'll never be bored!
Wow!!! That radiohead cover was fantastic! I could hardly believe those harmonies. So cool.
WOW! is what I was saying too! I found the video on Youtube and now my 5 year old is singing I want you back - sonos style!
way to go! love it! off to buy fom amazon!
wow - i was rocking out in my kitchen! thank you for that amazing show with the sonos - loved the jackson 5 song. wow! will buy this album and look for sonos on tour!!!
thank you!
