Bus-driving pigeons and missing stuffed animals made children's author and illustrator Mo Willems a hit among the playground set. Now a musical based on his book, Knuffle Bunny, is set to open at the Kennedy Center in May. Produced by Mark Anderson.

Mo Willems is absolutely our favorite author/illustrator- my three children enjoy his books *almost* as much as I do. :) We've had the grand experience of seeing his talks at the National Book Festival in DC, and he's charming, funny and just perfectly able to create wonderful children's books. Thanks so much for the story! (Oh, and my daughter and I will be attending the evening opening show of Knuffle Bunny, on her 4th birthday, no less. Thanks for the sneak preview of the music!)
Nice job Astrid! You are a true star! I can't wait to tell all your friends about you on the radio.
I love this author and I enjoyed the interview. Please tell Astrid she did wonderful!!! See her at school. Thanks, Dori
