Big Brother is just a mouse click away. Our online activity is being tracked, recorded, and then sold to the highest bidder — all thanks to a little line of programming code called a "cookie." Its inventor, Lou Montulli, says that without cookies, the web would be even creepier. Produced by Studio 360's Derek John.

just listened to this old show and was delighted: what a great assortment of stories on a very important topic... this is really one of the best shows out there...

I always delete my cookies. EXCEPT Studio 360 cookies. They're the ones I trust.
Loved this report and the research that went into it. I have a program on my computer where I can delete all cookies and other tracking info at the end of every session. Think I'll check out the "Track Me Not" program too. Thanks Kurt and Derek.
