Back in the days of “I Like Ike,” presidential candidates hired Madison Avenue ad men to come up with winning jingles. These days, campaign ads are all message, no flair. We want you to come up with an original jingle for one or more of the presidential candidates.
The deadline to be considered for our contest is Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 11:59 PM EDT.

Sing it, score it, your jingle can take any form — the catchier the better!
There are only two rules:
- Your jingle must be less than a minute long
- You must include the name of at least one presidential candidate

I wrote and recorded a jingle before the deadline last Sunday and sent it through Dropbox; I hope it was received. I wish I knew how to find out, and I wish I could add it to the jingles that people can listen to. It's on soundcloud, but I haven't used that before . . .
I realize I have passed the deadline for the competition, but I submitted a new Mitt Romney jingle, "Count On Mitt". Check it out! It is inspired by many of the old time jingles from the 1920's, 30's, 50's and 60's.
Hi Tom -- We played a couple jingles on this week's show (not Top 5, just some submissions we enjoyed). We'll play the winner next week (11/3-4).
Are we going to hear the top five jingles today---Sunday the 28th of October and hear the winner when?
