Almost 100 years ago, the Leica camera changed the world of photography. It was the first practical 35mm camera, and it has inspired passion in those who shoot with it. I'm sure she's an amazing photographer - but there's little magic to any camera - Leica included.

Leica made a huge historic contribution, but within the last fourty or so years many similarly portable cameras offer much the same and sometimes better image quality at far saner prices.
