Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh is a physically stunning city, despite its past reputation as the Smoky City or "Hell with the lid off" thanks to the steel industry, now long gone. But, several films have showcased the city's hills, rivers and neighborhoods, starting with 'Flashdance' and moving through such undistinguished efforts like "Striking Distance" and "The Roommate."

"Wonderboys," though, focuses on the city's neighborhoods and bars with a real affection. The impact is one of surprise by those who have never visited.
