Hollywood likes to cast stars as pioneering scientists; it really happened in the 1940s. Hedy Lamarr was once billed as the most beautiful woman in the world, and she’s partly responsible for the telecom innovation behind cell phones, GPS, and WiFi. Produced by Eric Molinsky.
I enjoyed the piece on Hedy Lamarr, I can't help but do a bit of work related promotion. Currently at 3LD Art & Technology Center, Hourglass Group is performing a play about Hedy Lamarr and George Antheil! There is also an 8 piano orchestra playing The Ballet Mecanique with robots!
