"Waltz With Bashir"

Ari Folman is still haunted by his Israeli military service during the 1982 invasion of Lebanon. He was in Beirut during the Sabra and Shatila massacres, when Palestinian refugees were killed by Lebanese militiamen. Folman tries to reclaim his lost memories in "Waltz With Bashir," but unlike most documentaries, the film is animated.

Listening to the interview today with Ari Folman I was outraged to hear Mr. Andersen refer to Folman's therapist as a "Shrink." It is exactly this condescending language that demeans those of us who suffer from mental illess and/or trauma and prevents us from receiving benefits equal to any other physical ailment. Mr. Andersen owes Mr. Folman an apology for making light of his story, and, he owes all of us who suffer from mental illness/trauma an apology as well for having the courage to seek the help we need. Thank you
