Annie Leibovitz

Kurt goes behind the scenes of Annie Leibovitz’s iconic photographs in her Greenwich Village studio. Leibovitz reminisces about her work at “Rolling Stone,” which is collected in her new book, At Work. Although she’s known for skillfully staged portraits, Leibovitz still struggles to capture the moment as it unfolds.

Excellent insight. Thanks Studio360 and Annie Leibovitz both for continuing to inspire. Can't wait to get my hands on the book.

Capturing "A" moment? What makes someone Annie Leibovitz? A good eye or luck. Maybe, both. But, luck has a little bit to do with it. I am a better photographer than most. I have the art/creativity to make or catch THAT moment. I would like for you or someone to just see what I am talking about.

Comment # 3 by Mary Caye Schirf is retarded! What makes someone Annie Leibovitz?? How about that she isn't a jealous moron like Mary Caye Schirf!! The harder you work, the better you get. The harder you work, the better odds of having some luck. SHE WORKED HARD and through hard work, she improved her skills and increases her odds of luck. But to say that it is mostly lUCK and that you could have done it too just shows the pathetic mentality that you have. You never put in the hard work required to have the skills or th luck of an Annie Leibovitz!! You are a NOBODY and you always will be a NOBODY and it is not due to bad luck. Its due to a bad outlook on what makes someone reach success. STOP BEING JEALOUS AND WORK HARD!! You claim you have the art creativity to match but that is only in your own mind!! You have NO SKILLS!! So stop pretending they had more luck than you. You are just an idiot. Thats the BIG difference! No one will ever hear or know of Mary Caye Schirf because you dont work hard and have the mentality of a fool. Plus you have no talent!
