Michael Terry (Michael Terry)

Finance Guy Goes Stand-Up

For years Michael Terry led a double life. He never revealed to his colleagues at his finance job that he was doing stand-up comedy at night. Now a full-time comic, he's coming clean about his banking past. Produced by Gretta Cohn.

I listened to the program and was generally impressed. For the Banker who volunteered to be laid-off was both courageous and selfless since he probably saved someone else's livlihood who was married with kids and a mortgage. At the same time he had the opportunity to realize his own inner passion--and that's probably what he was really terrified about. Changing careers in that way. Changing from something lucrative to Questionable; but "ITS NOW OR NEVER, MY LOVE WON'T WAIT". The economy and greed have proven that banking and finance are just as shakey as the entertainment industry. The author of THE HOUSE OF CARDS. I'm looking forwad to reading it. I'm even willing to pay FULL price to read it before they make it a movie.
