Girl in a Coma

A junior high bonding moment over tortured Morrissey music led to the formation of the San Antonio band Girl in a Coma. Now the band - Jenn Alva and sisters Phanie and Nina Diaz - is getting attention from rock gods like Joan Jett. Their new album Trio B.C. pays tribute to the sisters' grandfather, who introduced them to the Tejano music he played in the 1950s. Produced by Leital Molad.

So inspiring...These ladies are amazing! With that much drive, passion and talent, it won't be long before they are selling out major venues and performing to crowds of thousands.

i love giac, but i hope they don't ever get to the point where they're selling out major venues and performing to crowds of thousands. i much prefer seeing them perform in small venues.

The link to Girl in a Coma's website is a dead link. What gives?

Edge, thanks for the heads up - not sure what happened. The URL was valid last week...appears their site has disappeared! The link is now changed to their myspace page.
