I could not agree more with Mr. Ransdell; I hate it when The NFL Franchises change cities and steal everything about the previous city's franchise as the new cities' franchise. However, what I hate it even more is when The NFL Franchises decide to change from their 1970s-1980s uniforms to a more modern audience. That is why one of the important limitations of The Internet sports playing/participating associations (The GW'sSAs) I am creating is that no team/program/franchise can be moved or change their settings (uniforms, nicknames and etc) after they start the draft.

I also agree. I was grousing the other day at how I miss the "minuteman center" of the old Patriots' uniform.

However, I'm not sure if the new uniforms assail my sense of design (I'm also a graphic designer) or if it is a sense of nostalgia for a time when I followed sports passionately (then, I found out that all the Patriots weren't from New England and my disappointment dispelled my fervor).

Strong Bad had an email about 'modern' logos that is actually spot-on. Sorry, I can't link direct, but here's the main SBEmail menu: http://tinyurl.com/5bjh .It's a ways back...
