Singer, songwriter, bass virtuoso, and bandleader Meshell Ndegeocello visited the studio in 2005, after Dance of the Infidel came out. Ave Carrillo couldn’t wait to interview her. But Meshell hates being interviewed, and Ave found out why.
Hi Charlie -- Ah, Ave has made you into a super-fan too... The song that finishes the segment is "The Chosen" (featuring the lovely Cassandra Wilson) from MeShell's album "Dance of the Infidel." For a list of the rest of the music in the piece, go to: http://www.studio360.org/yore/music122905.html. Enjoy!
Studio 360, you are killing me! I was entranced by MeShell's music. One song in particular - the one that closes the show - is lush and beautiful and sexy, and I would love to buy the album that contains that track... but nowhere do you say what song it is or what album it is off of! I might just buy all of her albums anyway, but I really want that one song! Please help me out.
