"Drifter's Song" from Chen Xing's album New Ballads for Migrant Workers. (Guangdong Provincial Record Co. Ltd.)
Thanks a lot for the wonderful song. It's moving to think about the fate and feeling of migrant workers. My grandfather had to live like that during the twenties in Germany and it gives me the feeling of a universal bond to think of Chen Xing, his peers, and their struggles.
Is there any chance, we could get a rough translation of the lyrics, please? I know, it's a lot to ask.
Hi Stephen -- Unfortunately, Chen Xing's album isn't available outside the People's Republic of China. But here's his site: http://www.cx108.com/
I really enjoyed your program! How do I find Chen Xing's cd's in the US?
