Christopher Walken

Interview

Friday, April 02, 2010

From the pathos of "The Deer Hunter" to the silliness of "more cow bell" on "Saturday Night Live," Christopher Walken has covered about as much ground as one actor can. He's currently on Broadway starring in "A Behanding in Spokane." He tells Kurt about his return to the stage and the next role he'd like to take on: a chef on a cooking show.

Too bad you didn't talk about "Who Am I This Time?", a play he did with Susan Sarandon, from a story by Kurt Vonnegut. He was great and Ms. Sarandon, no slouch, ether. It's on DVD.

Wow. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it. Hats off to the boy from Queens!
