Kurt Andersen and actor Alan Arkin talk about improvisation and what we get out of it.

Alan Arkin is an actor and director. He helped form Chicago's Second City improvisational troupe. That helped launch an acting career on stage and screen that has lasted over 35 years, including lead roles in The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, Catch-22, The In-Laws, and Slums of Beverly Hills
