Kurt Andersen and film editor Dody Dorn look at the art of editing and the people who decide what stays and what goes. Dorn is a twenty-year veteran of the film industry. This year, she was nominated for an Oscar for her editing of Memento, the mind-bending thriller directed by Christopher Nolan. She is the editor of Nolan’s newest film, Insomnia, opening in theaters this May.
