Michael York on Teamwork

Kurt introduces special guest stage and screen actor Michael York, and they talk about his new book, A Shakespearean Actor Prepares.

Over the course of his thirty-year career actor Michael York has been in over 80 films for the big and small screen, including, the sci-fi classic Logan’s Run, Cabaret, and The Three Musketeers. Most recently he played the role of Basil Exposition in the hit Austin Powers movies. Mr. York is the Chair of the California Youth Theatre and the author of A Shakespearean Actor Prepares, a book he co-wrote with his friend, the actor, director, and teacher Adrian Brine.
