Essayist and humorist Calvin Trillin has been a staff
writer for the New Yorker for nearly thirty years. He is the author of
19 books including the best-selling Remembering Denny and three books
chronicling his eating adventures- American Fried, Alice, Lets Eat,
and Third Helpings - which have been compiled into a single volume
called The Tummy Trilogy.
