Dorfman
David Dorfman, an athlete turned dancer, is a choreographer,
teacher, performer, and in 1985 founded David Dorfman Dance, a modern
dance company which exuberantly combines fierce athleticism with humor
and the stories of everyday life. Lauded by the New York Times as "one
of our finest young choreographers," this summer he is in residence as
a teacher the American Dance Festival in Durham, NC. He and his company
begin touring again this fall and will be in residence at the University
of Michigan, Ann Arbor from September 3rd to 15th.
