Storyteller and museum exhibition designer Sean Ramsey (right)tells a neighborhood story from the days after September 11th. Members of the New York-based band VPN perform "Mary" by Patty Griffin.

Since 1997 the Moth has held storytelling evenings in bars, living rooms, and cafes. Joey Xanders is the executive and artistic director of the storytelling collective. She talks with Kurt about the power of telling stories and introduces three Moth participants: Sean Ramsey, Tony Hendra, and Greg Wolloch.

VPN
Very Pleasant Neighbor is a New York-based rock band that's been performing for over a decade. The band's Studio 360 performance features Austin Hughes on guitar and vocals, Patty Hughes on banjo and vocals, and Harrison Cannon on bass. VPN's new album, "For Nearby Stars," has just been released on Evil Teen Records.
